![]() ![]() MKLDNN is a separate open-source library and that can be built completely standalone. It can be downloaded automatically by the cmake script, although currently it’s messed up with MKLDNN It contains smaller number of functions to reduce the size of the download and reduce the number of dynamic libraries user needs. It is free under community support licensing ( ) but needs to be installed and downloaded manually. MKL is a full library, containing all the functionality. Apple Accelerate does contain lapack functionality within the framework but the current build script will switch it off (since it’s looking for liblapack.so). For OpenBLAS there is no separate lapack library, but the current build script can be tricked by making a symlink to the main library (some ubuntu installations already do that). ![]() Liblapack.so exists indeed for Atlas as a separate library and can be used with it. As far as I know MXNet supports following libraries:Ĭurrently there is some confusion about lapack - it checks only for a liblapack.so library regardless of what BLAS library is set and fails silently if it can not find it. Previously in this guide we used Anaconda to install this library, so, if you did it, the path after ~/anaconda/ should be the same for you, but you need to check whether ~/anaconda/ is where your Anaconda is installed. The first argument of the commands is the path of the library to be relinked as shown in the otool output, the second is the actual location of the library and the third is the executable file the linking information of which we are editing. Since we are using Anaconda, we should uncomment the second line and comment the first one. By default the first line is not commented and the second one is. In the next block, we need to specify the correct path to the Python libraries. Do ls ~/anaconda to see whether this folder exists, and if it is not, you should locate where you installed Anaconda and specify that path instead.
